VP, Domestic Total Rewards
Our client, a global financial services leader of 72,000 employees, desired a strategically-oriented addition to their human resources team. While initially seeking an individual hailing from an immediate competitor, we urged them to consider talent with solid leadership skills but with broader financial experience. Following successful negotiations, the client commended Leslie Kavanagh Associates’ ability to think “out of the box” and, moreover, to expediently tap world-class talent with not only financial services’ background, quantitative academic credentials and also strong supervisory history, within an extremely tight target timeframe.
Executive Director, Global Talent
A multibillion dollar diversified manufacturing client, currently in 160 countries, sought a talent acquisition subject matter expert to lead a 100+ person team into becoming a world-class operation. Ideally, the client sought a professional with both corporate and consulting experience to interface effectively with the myriad of global stakeholders crucial to one’s success. Among those on LKA’s recommended talent shortlist, a slightly junior recruiting professional was included who had gained a reputation for not only working well with diverse clients on several continents but also leading a team of recruiters remotely. LKA worked with her around the logistics of relocating her family and easing out of the candidate’s personal business operations, both of which had been perceived as initial roadblocks.
